Correct Score Tips
Understand correct-score betting, how selections settle and how to assess a scoreline without treating a prediction as a certainty.
A correct-score bet asks you to predict the exact score at the end of the match period named in the market. A 2–1 selection wins only if the match finishes 2–1 for that period; a 2–0 or 1–1 does not qualify. The narrow target makes this a high-uncertainty market, so treat any tip as one possible outcome rather than a forecast you can rely on.
Check what the market covers
Many standard football score markets refer to 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalties are commonly excluded, but competition and operator rules can differ. Read the market label and settlement rules before placing a bet, especially in cup ties where ‘to qualify’ and full-time score are different questions.
Build a reasoned shortlist
Start with the likely shape of the match: expected tempo, each side’s approach, availability information and how the teams create and concede chances. Use recent evidence as context, not a guarantee that a pattern will repeat. A plausible scoreline should follow from a match view; selecting a long list of scores simply covers more outcomes at additional cost.
Keep the uncertainty visible
A goal, red card or tactical change can quickly make a precise score unlikely. Compare the price and implied probability if you understand them, set a stake limit in advance, and do not chase a losing bet. No correct-score tip removes the chance of loss.
No selection guarantees a return. Only stake what you can afford to lose.
