Liverpool v Arsenal: what the latest injury notes actually cover

Liverpool and Arsenal meet at Anfield on Sunday 1 November at 16:30 GMT, according to the Premier League fixture amendment. Team availability is a separate question: the latest notes reviewed here refer to earlier matches and cannot settle Sunday’s selection.
The distinction matters in a week with cup football. A manager’s forecast has a date and fixture attached; carrying it forward without a fresh update can turn a qualified comment into a claim the source never made.
Liverpool’s update was tied to Chelsea
Liverpool’s availability list was marked last updated on 27 October. It reported a muscle injury for Jeremie Frimpong and quoted head coach Andoni Iraola saying a return before the November international break would be difficult.
The same list said Iraola was optimistic Florian Wirtz could be involved against Chelsea, while he was less certain about Dominik Szoboszlai for that Carabao Cup tie. The club’s separate pre-match fitness update likewise scoped those comments to Wednesday’s match. They are not a confirmed Liverpool-Arsenal team update.
Arsenal’s evidence has a different limit
A Sky report published on 24 October said Bukayo Saka left the Bayern match early and that further scans were needed. It also described Eberechi Eze entering on the left as Noni Madueke moved to the right in that match. Those are attributed observations from a past game, not a current medical status or a promise about Sunday’s lineup.
The Premier League squad page lists Saka, Declan Rice and William Saliba in Arsenal’s 2026/27 groupings; it does not report their fitness or selection.
For the upcoming Anfield match, the full-time result prices below were captured on 29 October. Each row shows one bookmaker’s complete 1X2 line.

Wait for a match-scoped confirmation
No later Arsenal availability statement for the three players was verified in this review, and Liverpool’s 27 October update does not establish Frimpong, Wirtz or Szoboszlai’s status for 1 November. A new club update or the official matchday squad is needed before calling anyone available, doubtful or absent.
Until then, the accurate position is that the sources describe earlier events and forecasts. They do not provide a complete team sheet for the Anfield fixture.
The separate 2.5-goal market quotes three or more goals as Over and zero, one or two as Under. William Hill supplied the complete exact-2.5 pair shown here; other lines are not mixed into this table.
