A derby decided before the break

AC Milan beat Inter 3–1 on 31 October, establishing the final score before half-time. Christian Pulisic headed in Diego Moreira’s cross after four minutes, Adrien Rabiot scored six minutes later, and Moreira then scored directly from a free kick. Alessandro Bastoni’s goal was Inter’s reply. Milan did not concede again after the interval. AC Milan and Opta confirm the result and sequence.

Juventus find a second-half breakthrough

A day later, Juventus beat Napoli 2–0. The first half ended goalless, with Juan Cabal hitting the post for Juventus. Kerim Alajbegović broke the deadlock after the interval with a shot from outside the area. Napoli defender Luca Marianucci was sent off after receiving a second yellow card following the opener, and Jérémie Boga added Juventus’s second late on. Those details appear in Juventus’s match report and ANSA’s independent recap.

The takeaway

The results are easy to distinguish by timing: Milan built its winning margin in the first half, while Juventus’s goals came after a scoreless opening 45 minutes. The table gives the match sequence without suggesting that one pattern predicts the next round.
