Kai Havertz scored in the 16th minute as Arsenal beat Liverpool 1–0 at Anfield on 1 November. The Liverpool match report records the goal and chances, while Sky Sports independently confirms the result and describes Arsenal’s first league win at Anfield in 14 years.
An early finish proves decisive
Liverpool’s report says Arsenal regained the ball as the hosts tried to play out from a goal-kick. Declan Rice went down the right and delivered low for Havertz to finish at the far post. Florian Wirtz struck the crossbar with a free-kick before the interval.
After the break, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson saved from Christos Tzolis. At the other end, Victor Munoz headed towards David Raya’s goal, but Liverpool could not find an equaliser, according to the club’s account.

What the result changes
The result replaces the earlier fixture preview as the most recent account of this meeting. Sky Sports reports that Arsenal moved three points clear of Manchester City and nine ahead of Liverpool at the time of its report; those standings describe 1 November and should not be presented as a live table. Readers can also revisit the original fixture-calendar article for the pre-match schedule.
